Southpoint Media is seeking a full-time web developer to join our growing team.

Candidates must have 3 years of demonstrated experience with the following:
- PHP, Javascript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, MySQL
- Must have significant WordPress experience. Magento is a plus.

Other requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Team player

Primary responsibility will be the development of WordPress themes, either entirely from scratch (based on a provided design and functionality requirements), or as a modification of an existing WordPress theme. Familiarity with Custom Post Types and the ability to include custom widgets, integrate plugins and other theme functionality is required.

CHFI Website Launched

Celestial Humanitarian Foundation International (CHFI) is a Christian, non-profit organization committed to helping achieve poverty reduction in Africa.  CHFI’s programs empower the rural poor by teaching sustainable farming practices and lifting entire communities out of profound deprivation and hopelessness.

Working with agricultural expert, Dr. Kodjo Abassa of Addis Ababa, and the CHFI team, we developed a site that seeks to educate, inform and motivate those interested in CHFI’s programs.  The new site integrates the Piryx social fundraising platform, provides French translation and offers sign-up opportunities for potential volunteers.  Visit the site to see how CHFI is working to provide a better life for those in need.

Trident Sustainability Group is a full-service sustainability and green building consulting firm based in Savannah.  Founded by sustainability expert Tommy Linstroth, Trident’s mission is to “demystify green solutions” and help organizations become better stewards of the environment.
